IKO kiteboarding center Our courses are run by qualified IKO instructors.

NOTE:
All the safety equipment (helmet, life vest) is included.
kitesurfing introductory course 1. Introductory Course

Duration: 2 hours
Instructor / Student Ratio = 1:2
Equipment (kite) / Student ratio = 1:2

Goal
: To give you the basic skills you need to fly and enjoy safely a power kite.

Motto
:Get exhilarated and “fuelled up” with adrenaline!

Course program (on the beach)
- Kiteboarding Theory (kit, wind window…)
- Safety techniques
- Setting up
- Launching/landing techniques
- Basic kite control (flying skills with both trainer and inflatable kite)
kitesurfing taster course 2. Taster Course

Duration: 6 hours (2 days)
Instructor / Student Ratio = 1:2
Equipment (kite + board+ harness) / Student Ratio= 1:2

Goal
: Getting to know the Basic flying skills, body surfing, water start, edge control and ultimately to get you up on the board riding on both tacks.

Motto: Get hooked to it!

- Assisted Launching & Landing
- Basic kite control (flying skills)

- Harness safety
- Body surfing

kitesurfing beginner course 3. Beginner Course

Duration: 10 hours (3 days)
Instructor / Student Ratio = 1:2
Equipment (kite + board+ harness) / Student Ratio = 1:2

Goal
: To provide you with the knowledge and skills to progress safely, easily, and quickly – one step from being an independent and safe kite boarder.

Course program
- Kiteboarding theory (equipment knowledge, wind window...)
- Safety techniques & Wind Awareness (Spot analysis)
- Setting up
- Assisted Launching & Landing
- Self Rescue
- Power Control (kite skills)
- Water Re-launch
- Harness safety
- Body surfing
- Water start
- Riding
- Equipment pack up.
kitesurfing intermediate course 4. Intermediate Course

Duration: 6 hours (2 days)
Instructor / Student Ratio = 1:2
Equipment (kite + board+ harness) / Student Ratio = 1:2

Goal
: To take the last step to make you become an independent and safe kiteboarder.

Course program
- 4 line kite setting up
- 4 line kite flying
- Board control & edging
- Upwind riding
- Switching direction
- Jibing
kitesurfing advanced course 5. Advanced Course

Duration: 3 or 6 hours (1 or 2 days)
Instructor / Student Ratio = 1:1
Equipment: not included

Goals
: Jumps, tricks, Freestyle? Your Instructor will guide you to your goals!!
6. Private Lessons

Duration: 1 hour
